At the end of November, Francesco Bagnaia secured the MotoGP World Championship for the second consecutive year – becoming the third rider in the last 20 years to achieve this, following Valentino Rossi and Marc Márquez.
A title for which Álex Rins congratulated the Ducati rider. The Spaniard told the press that he was happy for his rival, considering it a well-deserved title:
– He deserves it, he did a really good year. I’m happy for him because he is a really good rider. We were fighting in lower categories, like 125cc in the Spanish championship and here in MotoGP. I’m so happy for him. He wins the championship winning the last race. It’s so nice.
