After registering the first decrease in over a month, fuel prices are expected to have a mixed behavior next week.
According to calculations by “ECO”, on Monday, March 4th, diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, should decrease by 1.5 cents per liter to an average price of €1.625. On the other hand, regular gasoline 95 is expected to increase by one cent, to a price of €1.737 per liter.
According to the specialized publication in economic matters, these prices already take into account the discounts applied by fuel companies and the revision of temporary fiscal measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the currently effective measures is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
