The next week is not expected to bring major changes to fuel prices, but everything points to paying a little more for gasoline when refueling.
According to “ECO“, in the early hours of next Monday, January 8, the price of regular 95 gasoline is expected to increase slightly by 0.5 cents per liter, to an average price of €1.648 per liter, while the price of regular diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, is not expected to change and will remain at €1.567 per liter.
These prices already take into account the discounts applied by gas stations and the revision of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the currently effective measures is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
