Garrett Gerloff will continue in the World Superbike Championship in 2025, but he will make a move to Kawasaki Puccetti Racing. This team will become the factory team for the Ninja ZX-10RR, following the current Kawasaki team’s transition to focus on their Bimota brand.
The American joined WSBK in 2020 with GRT Yamaha, achieving his first podiums in his debut season. Last year, he moved to Bonovo Action BMW, a partner team with the German manufacturer.
While it seemed unlikely that Gerloff would leave the project, Bonovo Action announced in July that it would leave the WSBK grid at the end of the season, leaving the rider, along with teammate Scott Redding, to seek new opportunities.
A few weeks ago, Gerloff was speculated as a candidate for Kawasaki Puccetti, and this has now been confirmed. In 2025, he will ride a current season Ninja ZX-10RR, allowing him to continue his career in WSBK.
