MotoGP continues to show more about the riders personal life and this time it was Raúl Fernández to open his mind and reveal something more about himself, saying that Valentino Rossi and Fernando Alonso (F1) are inspiring figures for him.
Asked about what inspires him, regarding athletes, his answer was: ‘Maybe Valentino Rossi. He’s one of my references because I love motorsports. Valentino Rossi or maybe Fernando Alonso. I like the characters a lot and how they managed their career’.
Then about what type of shows, he made his choice, before revealing also what is the music artistic he is more into now: ‘I prefer some documentaries. One that I was of the Manchester City documentary. In all sports you have some difficult moments. They found out what they could do to change the situation, so I like that one a lot. Now I am listening to Travis Scott a lot, I don’t know why, but I like it’.
He finished with a word to his parents, as far as his loved one, and his crew chief, Noe Herrera, who he admires: ‘Maybe I can say my parents. They tried to give me everything that they had and maybe I can say them. Non-Sporting hero?: I can say my crew chief. I like his mindset, I like how he sees life and how he tries to improve himself, so maybe I can say him’.
