Dale Coyne Racing announced that Luca Ghiotto will be returning to the team for the next two IndyCar races. The 29-year-old driver previously competed for DCR at Barber Motorsports Park and the Indianapolis circuit earlier this year. Ghiotto will once again be behind the wheel of car #51 at Road America this weekend and at Laguna Seca at the end of June. Ghiotto expressed his excitement for the opportunity, stating that he enjoyed his first two races in the NTT IndyCar Series and is looking forward to working with the team again to continue progressing. In his debut races, Ghiotto finished in 21st and 25th place, showcasing his ability to avoid trouble on the track. As one of five drivers to pilot car #51 this season, Ghiotto will have the most experience with the team this year, with four starts under his belt. DCR owner Dale Coyne praised Ghiotto’s performance and expressed his anticipation to work with him again in the upcoming races. The XPEL Grand Prix at Road America will take place on Sunday, June 9th, at 3:30 pm Eastern time.
