If confirmed, the predictions for fuel prices next week point to a decrease in diesel and gasoline.
According to calculations by “ECO”, after six weeks of increase, on Monday, February 26th, diesel, the most commonly used fuel in Portugal, will decrease by 3 cents per liter, reaching an average price of €1.634.
On the other hand, 95 gasoline is expected to experience a slight decrease of 1.5 cents, reaching a price of €1.718 per liter. These prices already take into account the discounts applied by the fuel companies and the revision of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the currently effective measures is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
