The supercar brands continue to strive for speed records, and American brand Hennessey seems to be at the forefront of achieving new highs with the Venom F5.
The brand led by John Hennessey has already announced that it is working to reach 480 km/h, after achieving a top speed of 430 km/h with the Venom GT, and reaching 437 km/h in tests in 2022 with the Venom F5.
However, this year the American brand is aiming to achieve a new record and has chosen driver David Donohue, who will attempt to reach a top speed of 480 km/h with the Venom F5, a record that would make the Hennessey supercar the fastest production car in the world.
It is worth noting that the Venom F5 is equipped with a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine capable of delivering 1842 hp of power and a maximum torque of 1617 Nm.
