Valentino Rossi marked an era on MotoGP and secured world titles both with Honda and Yamaha. Now, looking back to the current level of both manufacturers, the italian believes they realised they have to improve to be on the on the winning ways once again. As for Luca Marini, who moved to Honda, can be of a good help.
Owner of Mooney VR46 Racing Team, one of the teams that stood out this 2023, with Ducati Desmosedici, addressed the level of the two japanese manufacturers, to Sky: ‘They and Yamaha have understood that they cannot afford to suffer so much, especially from Ducati. They have understood that they have to go up a gear’.
With concessions allowed for the teams, Rossi believes that, on Honda’s side, there will be a very important element that can help them to get into the winning path, none other than his brother, Marini:
– Then next year the japanese manufacturers will have help, and Marini is a very good test rider, we’ll see.
Marini signed with Honda for two years.
