Honda has brought news on Misano MotoGP Test and Joan Mir sees this is a ultimate opportunity for the manufacturer to show something towards the next season, despite what he tried in the morning wasn’t something that ‘huge’ in terms of performance difference.
The rider began to say: ‘Every help would be very welcome, but it’s true that if we miss to try a new engine to try here they will have probably less time to develop for the next test that will be in Valencia. It would be better if we could get today one new engine to try and understand something, but if it’s not like that then we will just focus on what we have’.
Mir was happy that the japanese brought some novelties, as if they didn’t it would mean further disadvantages: ‘Probably if they didn’t bring any engine here, it means that the changes they bring will not be very huge because if this new chassis, the new bike, can stay with the same engine then it means that the change will not be very big. We will try to make a good afternoon, draw our conclusions, and see if this can be helpful for us at the end of the season’.
