Jorge Martín once again did a dominant performance in the MotoGP Japanese GP sprint race, bringing him closer to the top spot in the MotoGP World Championship.
The Spanish rider from Prima Pramac mentioned in the flash interview with the official broadcast that he felt strong right from the morning practice session. Following his strong pace in the sprint race, he’s now aiming for another win in the main race:
– I felt super strong for today’s race. In the morning I was in the top positions, but I had really used tyres, so I thought maybe they had something extra. Then, in qualifying I saw that I was right and I did an amazing lap. We were trying to work a bit on the details, trying to understand, because we didn’t change a lot the setup. I think we’ve found a great base. We are happy that the pace is this fast – hopefully tomorrow I can be a bit more calm, with more laps we need to manage the tyre. But even though I feel very happy overall and let’s go for another victory tomorrow.
