Jorge Martín secured the pole position for the MotoGP Thai GP this Saturday. The Prima Pramac rider did so with a new lap record at Buriram, indicating that he will once again be a “target to beat” in the battle for victories.
In the flash interview with the official broadcast, the #89 was faced with the fact that his rival in the title race, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), is starting from the second row of the grid, to which he replied:
– Well, I just look to myself, I’m strong, this is the most important thing. I didn’t expect to do 1m29.2s, I think it’s a really good lap. The feeling overall with the used tyres was great. I feel strong – more for tomorrow than today, but I think we can battle for both races.
