Next year, Enea Bastianini will join KTM Tech3 in MotoGP. Since his debut in 2021, the rider has always been on Ducati bikes, so this will be a new situation for him.
Acknowledging that he doesn’t have direct experience with the RC16, the Italian said in a press conference that he believes it could be a good bike for him… although he cannot yet compare it to the Ducati:
– I think it will be a good bike for me, but I haven’t never tried this bike; I’ve seen it many times on track, but if you don’t try it, you can’t explain better if it has a stronger point compared to Ducati or not. Let’s see.
At the moment, Bastianini is one of title contenders, holding third place in the championship, 49 points behind the leader – this after winning both the Sprint race and the main race at the British GP.
