Joan Mir felt noticeable differences in the Honda RC213-V during the MotoGP testing day in Valencia. However, despite acknowledging improvements, he believes there is still room for further enhancement.
The Repsol Honda rider told the press that there is potential to improve the bike’s electronics, aiming to have a motorcycle that allows him to do what he did with Suzuki:
– The engine characther, the electronics, are still the type of electronics we had this year. I think we can do something on it. It’s one of the things I request for Sepang, there is margin. Now that the grip is a little bit better, if we have more the control on the hand is an advantage – it was what I was doing with Suzuki. Then at the end of the race I was always able to be strong for this, not just trust on the electronics. We work on that thing, with used tyres that is the proper way to do it. We made some steps, I find a reaction, I’m able to see a reaction in the box.
