Brad Binder finished today’s Misano MotoGP Tests in good shape after being third on P2, following a P13 on the morning session. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider was happy with the work done and made a wish towards the chassis he got to try.
First Binder got to address the morning session: ‘Today was a good day. The track was super dirty this morning and we took the first hour to clean it up a little, other than that it was a positive day. I did quite a few laps, in the afternoon as well, we jumped between a lot of things, different setups and what not. I felt pretty good, can’t complain’.
As for the work done, the #33 made a wish for the chassis, saying those he tested all had good and not so good aspects: ‘I rode two or three frames today, and they all had positives to be honest. Positives and negatives. Honestly some of them turned a bit better, some had a little bit more grip, and I think if they can make a good combo it will be great’.
The south african also tested the new Michelin tyre, for tests, but couldn’t give a proper feedback as it works given the track condition: ‘I tried test tyre at the end. I used the rear and nothing crazy. For me I need a little bit more grip on the edge on the left hand side but I don’t know but it was honestly very hard to understand these tests because at the end of the day the track is like in rails, literally: so much grip you can’t put a foot wrong.
