The 2023 season was historic for Prima Pramac Racing, becoming the first satellite team to clinch the MotoGP title. However, their rider Jorge Martín narrowly missed the individual championship.
Despite potential disappointment, team owner Paolo Campinoti assured Paddock TV that the season ended «with a smile on the face»: ‘I’m very happy because in life, you need to know how to accept the defeat, it’s part of our internal growth. Of course, we didn’t lose the world championship due to a single event; there were a series of our mistakes that we’ll aim to improve’.
With that said, the Italian emphasized his hopes of avoiding a similar situation in the future: ‘I hope it doesn’t happen again because the bitterness is substantial. But it’s also important to digest defeat, and I believe we’ve shown this year that we are a very strong group, and next year we’ll rise again’.
