IM Motors, a brand founded in 2020 and owned by the Chinese group SAIC, the same owner as MG, will present at the Geneva Motor Show, which takes place from February 26 to March 3, the new L6, a 100% electric sedan, thus anticipating its arrival in the European market.
The new model, which the brand has already announced will come in two configurations, is equipped with cutting-edge technology and features an electric propulsion system designed to combine benchmark performance, allowing the brand to announce acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, and a range between 600 and 800 kilometers.
IM Motors will enter the European market in 2025, and its presence at the Geneva Motor Show will happen together with MG, which is debuting the new MG3 Hybrid.
It is worth noting that IM Motors was born from the alliance between SAIC and the e-commerce giant Alibaba, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, a Research and Development specialist company. Its first mass-produced model was the IM L7 sedan, pictured, launched in 2021, equipped with a 93 kWh battery that allows for a range of up to 615 km between charges.
