Indian Motorcycle is considered by many to be one of the most iconic motorcycle manufacturers in the world. Known for its cruiser bikes and high-performance engines, the company constantly releases special editions of many of its models. The latest of these takes the form of the Challenger Elite 2024, as only 325 units will be sold worldwide.
Indian claims that the Challenger Elite 2024 is the ultimate American bagger and boasts a unique and captivating style. The bike has a custom Charcoal Candy paint job with red rims for added contrast and a sporty touch. Like the standard Challenger, the Elite features a low stance and a bulky fairing at the front that protects the rider from the wind, while giving the bike an unmistakable aesthetic. At the rear, the Challenger Elite has built-in carrying cases, so packing for trips out of town is as easy as a stroll in the park.
In terms of performance, the Challenger Elite has a 1,769.8cc twin-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 122 horsepower and 173.5 Nm of torque. This huge engine delivers confidence-inspiring power and torque, making long-distance highway trips comfortable and enjoyable. Adding to that comfort is Fox’s premium suspension package. This consists of electronically adjustable rear suspension, which allows you to set the perfect settings depending on your luggage, as well as whether you’re driving alone or with a passenger.
With an impressive engine and suspension, Indian hasn’t left high-end technology out of the equation. The bike comes equipped with Smart Lean technology which ensures that the power is available and controllable even when cornering. There’s also an adaptive LED headlight, heated grips and three riding modes (Tour, Standard and Sport). Last but not least, the Challenger Elite is equipped with a PowerBand audio system with four 100-watt speakers (two in the fairing and two in the saddlebag).
As far as availability is concerned, only 325 of these luxury cruiser bikes will see the light of day. In addition, the bike can be fitted with a number of optional factory accessories, further enhancing the performance and riding experience. As such, Indian advises you to contact your nearest dealer for more precise information on prices.
