Francesco Bagnaia clinched his second MotoGP title this Sunday. He did so by winning the Valencia Grand Prix, which concluded the 2023 season.
The Italian mentioned in an interview with the official broadcast that it was the perfect outcome, although he admitted facing numerous challenges throughout the race:
– Amazing. Amazing. I don’t have many words right now. It was a very long race, 27 laps of struggle because I didn’t feel well with the front. Then I just tried to let past the two KTM and the feeling started to become better – maybe because the pressure or the temperature grew. And from that moment I started to feel better and I was able to push. But in the last three laps I was completely without tyres and it was quite tough. But finally we did it. We won the title winning the race! Better than this is impossible. I just want to say thanks to my team that is fantastic. More than this it’s impossible.
