Marc Márquez returned to the podium this Sunday with a third-place finish in the MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix. This comes at a time when the decision about whether to stay with Repsol Honda or leave in 2024 may not have been made yet.
When asked at a press conference whether the result in Motegi is enough to change what he’s considering for the future, the #93 assured that an individual result won’t be the leading factor for a decision:
– No, it’s not today’s podium or the result in India, Misano or Catalunya. I have a clever mentality and I know what needs to happen to go one way or the another one. But we can say that today’s podium was a romantic podium, so it was very nice.
