Jago Geerts didn’t have the ideal start to the MXGP motocross season. Early in the second lap of the MXGP of Patagonia Argentina, he crashed, sustaining an injury.
The incident occurred at turn one of the Villa la Angostura circuit. According to Monster Energy Yamaha, their rider fractured the collarbone and elbow of his left arm and will have to miss the remainder of the South American round.
After the crash, Geerts was taken to a hospital for examination, where the injuries were diagnosed. He will now return to Belgium to consult with a specialist and determine the recovery path to follow.
