Jaume Masiá clinched the Moto3 World Championship title this year, securing the championship with one round to go. However, it was a tough and challenging season, where he found himself more than 50 points behind the lead after the summer break.
That moment marked the most challenging period of the year for the Spaniard. Speaking to MotoGP.com, the rider representing Leopard Racing recalled the Austrian GP, where he retired:
– In Austria for me was the lowest point of the season and I felt like all the weight of the world was on my shoulders. We were fighting for the podium and we had a mechanical issue. So it was very difficult to accept. Thanks to my team we were even closer after this moment. We took a lot of energy between us and we came back together even stronger.
