There are adjustments to the World Superbike calendar for this year. The Supersport and Supersport 300 World Championships are also affected, as the round that changes dates is Jerez.
The Circuito de Jerez Ángel Nieto continues to host the last round of the season. However, the round is postponed by one week to October 18-20 (originally scheduled for October 11-13). According to a statement, the postponement responds ‘to the dynamic demands of the local events calendar and the request of the township of Jerez de la Frontera’.
This is the only adjustment, with the start of the season still set for February 23-25 at Phillip Island. Before that, on February 19-20, the same Australian circuit hosts the only official test of the year for WSBK and WSSP.
