Dale Jr. and Joey Logano had a funny conversation before the Bristol Cup race last week. Netflix premiered “NASCAR: Full Speed,” a documentary series about the premier stock car racing series, in January. The series sparked great interest from fans due to its more accurate representation of the racing championship. A notable moment in the show was when NASCAR Hall of Famer called Dale Earnhardt Jr., a two-time NASCAR Cup champion, an insurance salesman. Earnhardt Jr. jokingly pointed out that when he’s not racing, he could easily be mistaken for an insurance salesman. Logano playfully confronted Earnhardt Jr. about his comments during the Bristol Motor Speedway Cup race. They laughed about it and discussed their respective racing and sales skills. Logano, who is currently facing challenges in the 2024 season, hopes to have a race that boosts his momentum and results in a top-five finish or a win. He acknowledges that he needs to improve his performance on the track and in pit road.
