Johann Zarco is competing this year for LCR Honda, making it the fourth different bike he has piloted full-time after Yamaha, KTM, and Ducati. His experience is vast, and the initial times have been satisfactory for his new team.
The owner, Lucio Cecchinello, stated, as quoted on SPEEDWEEK.com, that although there are improvements to be made, the Frenchman has had good sensations with the RC213V from the beginning:
– Let’s put it this way: we are pleased because Johann has found a good feeling with the bike since the first test. He has a good feeling entering the corner, feels that the bike is agile, and can turn well. Of course, we need to improve rear grip. I think Joan Mir can also push the Honda forward in a short time, and of course, we hope that Taka [Nakagami] and Luca [Marini] will do the same.
