Jorge Martín once again didn’t had a seat in the Ducati factory team for the 2024 MotoGP season, despite his championship fight with Francesco Bagnaia this year. The manufacturer opted for keep the trust in Enea Bastianini, who had a season heavily impacted by injuries.
Despite recognizing the challenges the Italian faced and the injuries he endured during the season, the #89 is unhappy after not being promoted to the factory Ducati team for the 2024 MotoGP season. He said to AS newspaper:
– It bothers me that it’s never enough. I don’t know what else I need to do to demonstrate more. I understand Enea had a tough year, but he raced 14 or 15 times and won one because he set the front tyre pressure at 1.2 bar. Like that, I could win too.
