With less than an hour remaining in the morning session, Jorge Martín is at the top of the timesheets in the official MotoGP testing day at Misano. More than half of the riders have already posted lap times in the 1m31s range, as teams are already working on concepts for 2024.
On his 27th lap out of 28, Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) clocked a time of 1m31.351s. The San Marino GP winner was just seven thousandths of a second faster than Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), followed by Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac/Ducati).
Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati) and Miguel Oliveira (CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team/Aprilia) round out the top five, with the Portuguese rider 0.328s behind the leader.
Two riders have completed the most laps so far: Pol Espargaró (GasGas Tech3/KTM) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda), both with 33 laps at Misano on this testing day. In contrast, Joan Mir (Repsol Honda) has the fewest kilometers, with 18 laps.
