High temperatures and a challenging circuit promised to make life difficult for the MotoGP riders at the Indian GP, and Jorge Martín ended up suffering the most in Sunday’s race.
After crossing the finish line in second place, the Prima Pramac rider was visibly drained: he left his bike in the garage and had to hydrate himself before being assisted to the parc fermé area.
Martín was far from fully recovered and may have even fainted (it’s not clear if this happened), as he did not appear for the usual post-race interview. The #89’s health situation is not known, but it was evident from the images that he was receiving medical assistance from Ángel Charte and being hydrated. Martín recovered enough to later join the podium.
