Kay de Wolf started the MXGP of Spain winning. This is the second round of the MX2 Motocross World Championship. Yesterday, he claimed victory in the qualifying race held in Arroyomolinos.
The Dutch rider from Nestaan Husqvarna took the lead on the opening lap and maintained it until the end of the race, with Simon Längenfelder (Red Bull GasGas) as his main pursuer. De Wolf crossed the finish line with a 3.028-second lead over the German rider.
In third place was Liam Everts (Red Bull KTM), who finished a distant 13.102 seconds behind the winner. Following them were Lucas Coenen (Nestaan Husqvarna) and Mikkel Haarup (Monster Energy Triumph), who managed to overtake Andrea Adamo (Red Bull KTM) on the final lap.
