Releasing the dominant KTM 990 RC R range. The flagship KTM 990 RC R, due to roll off the Mattighofen production line in early 2025, has a dedicated Supersport personality, but will be homologated for use on public roads. The new development embodies the fusion of Austrian engineering excellence and racing DNA, delivering unique performance while embracing the practical demands of the road. Instantly meeting the desires of “orange” enthusiasts fixated on track days and individuals looking to keep their adrenaline pumping with an exceptionally capable road bike.
The KTM 990 RC R will thrill enthusiasts with its homologated street model, but its racing DNA will be intentionally revealed in early 2024. The prototype will appear as a wildcard in non-scoring races in selected European Supersport series, arousing fans’ expectations.
KTM is also filming a multi-part behind-the-scenes documentary about the bike’s R&D journey and its entry into the Supersport sector. This exclusive behind-the-scenes content will give viewers an up-close and usually unseen glimpse into the fast-paced world of the Austrian-based factory and what it takes to turn a bike from an idea into reality.
