Remember the KTM 1290 Super Duke R equipped by Brabus? Well, the 1300 R Masterpiece Edition, produced in just 50 units, may not be the last collaboration between the two companies, as was announced last September.
This is suggested by some patents registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on March 1, 2024. The documents mention a “Brabus 1400 R Rocket” and, given the use of the Rocket name on previous Brabus models, this is, if there was any doubt, an ultra-high performance variant. The engine is likely to be a 1,350 cc LC8, already standard, but revamped. There could, however, be different configurations: there’s talk of the “Brabus 1400 R Tailor Made”, probably a customized version that will be built according to the customer’s individual preferences, but also the “Brabus 1400 R Signature”, which we assume could have even more luxurious details.
At the time of writing, there is no confirmed news from either Brabus or KTM.
