Portugal will host the 2024 edition of the KTM Europe Adventure Rally, which is expected to be the biggest edition ever.
The expected increase in size compared to previous editions of the Adventure Rally is due to a significant increase in the number of places that KTM will be making available in 2024. In total, 250 people will be taken to the Algarve region in southern Portugal with KTM for the 2024 Adventure Rally Europe.
KTM says that the route will consist of “laps that satisfy all tastes, from beginners to the most experienced drivers”, and will be 800 km long, taking three days to cover. Navigation will be carried out by GPS or by “tour guides” who will lead the groups. In addition, support will be provided by KTM ambassadors Chris Birch, Johnny Aubert, Giovanni Sala, as well as a full team of KTM technical staff, made up of R&D, customer service and product management personnel.
The rally will take place in the city of Lagos, where participants will stay in four-star hotels for the duration of the event.
KTM doesn’t mention which bikes will be available to take part in the Europe Adventure Rally 2024. They will certainly be from the KTM Adventure range, but it is not known exactly which models will be used. If the previous edition in Norway is anything to go by, then everything from the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R to the 690 Enduro R will be available.
The KTM Europe Adventure Rally 2024 is scheduled for October 7-10, 2024. Bookings will open on January 30, 2024.
