The start of a new chapter in Lancia’s 116-year history is scheduled for next February, with the presentation of the new Ypsilon, the only model of the Italian brand that remains in commercialization to this day.
The second “teaser” image of the new Ypsilon generation was released this Wednesday, December 13th, and shows the front of the new model, and as already anticipated with the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE, it features the historic grille, the ‘chalice’ of Lancia, part of the brand’s tradition and now reinterpreted in a modern way, projecting it into the future through three LED rays of light, making it iconic, memorable and recognizable from afar, both day and night.
The chalice ideally embraces the new Lancia lettering, worked in satin stainless steel and distinguished by the original font inspired by the world of fashion, “signing” the new electric era of the brand. The front, inspired by the Lancia Beta Montecarlo, will be in glossy black to better highlight the new brand lettering, just like in the Pu+Ra HPE Concept.
It is already known that the new 100% electric Lancia Ypsilon will be revealed in February 2024, and it will be available in a limited edition series called Cassina, with only 1906 numbered units.
