This week, Trackhouse Racing announced Davide Brivio as the new team manager for MotoGP. The engineer, who has previously worked with champions like Joan Mir and Valentino Rossi, will now oversee Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández.
The Italian told Sky Sport Italia that he sees good potential in both riders and wants to unlock that potential, which he believes was underutilized in 2023: ‘Both of them have a lot of talent, and we will try to make the most of their potential, as last year they didn’t know how to make the most of what they could offer’.
For the first time, Brivio will work with a satellite team, an experience he anticipated: ‘For me, it will be the first time with an independent team, but this one is a bit different from the others. The American world has always fascinated me, and it will be nice to see what we can add from their sport to the European one. It could be two worlds that meet and intersect, and I think it’s positive for everyone’.
