Max Verstappen, from Red Bull Racing, competed in the Formula 1 race in Miami on May 4, 2024. The race took place in Miami, Florida, USA, as part of the Formula 1 World Championship, Rd 6. Charles Leclerc, Ferrari driver, believes he could have pressured Verstappen more if he was close enough to activate the Drag Reduction System (DRS). Leclerc started the race in second position and used newer Medium tires to get closer to Verstappen. However, Verstappen defended his position and prevented Leclerc from getting within one second to activate the DRS. Leclerc believes that if he had the DRS, he could have challenged Verstappen more effectively. Nevertheless, he managed to hold his position and finish in second place, ahead of Sergio Perez in the other Red Bull car.
