The tenth place in the Spanish GP didn’t dim the brilliance of Pedro Acosta’s debut season in MotoGP. After four rounds, he’s fourth in the championship, and now he arrives at the French GP.
The Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider has retired from two of the three races at Le Mans on every occasion since he’s been in the world championships. Something he wants to change this weekend at his team’s home:
– It’s always a track I really enjoy, everytime I came here in the last three yeras I was fast, but I always crashed. For this, let’s try that this is the first season we finish a race. It’s the second home GP in a row. I’m super happy to see all the fans and I’m super happy to share this weekend with all my team.
Despite the strong start to the season, Acosta expects to face difficulties eventually – aware that failure is part of learning: ‘I think no one in the team expected that. It’s true that there is still a way to go, we are only in the beginning. We need to fail many times to learn. For this, it’s true that is a nice and sweet moment, but for sure tough ones will arrive sooner or later’.
