LiveWire, Harley-Davidson’s “green” brand, is preparing to launch its third all-electric model: the S2 Mulholland. A page dedicated to the model has appeared on the website with a new teaser in which we can see some details aimed at creating anticipation for the official presentation scheduled for March 21, 2024. The images show that the S2 Mulholland will understandably share many features with the S2 Del Mar. The basic architecture known as the S2 Arrow remains – it seems – the same, although there are certainly some differences in design and layout.
In the few images, we notice a new “storage” console with a different shape to the S2 Del Mar, which suggests possible changes to the structure. The fact that there is also a passenger in the video suggests more space. The handlebars appear to be mounted on higher supports and the rear-view mirrors are bar-shaped, while the headlights and turn signals look more reminiscent of the LiveWire One, suggesting a possible mix of styling elements. While the S2 Del Mar has the screen mounted on the top of the handlebars, it seems that on the S2 Mulholland it may have been moved down, presumably behind the handlebar mounts. We can see the LiveWire panel on the fairing and the rims similar to those on the Del Mar, as well as the low overhang on the rear wheel.
As we had already anticipated, we expect the S2 Mulholland to have a slightly longer wheelbase and to be lighter, if only slightly, than the Del Mar, whose declared weight is 197 kg and expected range is 110 to 180 km. However, all doubts should be cleared up on March 21, 2024, the first day of spring and the definitive date for the official presentation of Milwaukee’s third electric motorcycle, pending the arrival of the S2 Del Mar, which was scheduled for last fall.
