A start-up Aitekx has surpassed Tesla and is becoming one of the sensations of the Los Angeles Auto Show, with the debut of the final version of its futuristic electric pickup truck Robotruck 1T, a clone of the Cybertruck, which can travel up to 885 km between charges… The young Silicon Valley company in California innovates in the design of the headlights, and in a few other style elements, but starting with the name (Robotruck vs. Cybertruck), through the logo, which is an “A” but resembles a white and red “T”, and even the space-like image, the lines of this surprising model seem to be copied exactly from the car promised by Elon Musk before the end of the year.
Even the proportions are similar. The Aitekx RoboTruck 1T is available in versions with two, three, or five seats, with a single or double cabin, measuring 4.77 m or 5.02 m in length, respectively, and featuring an open box with 1.86 m, allowing for loading objects up to 3.5 m with the tailgate open.
Mechanically, there are confirmed configurations with a single electric motor and rear-wheel drive, and with two motors, one for each axle, and all-wheel drive. For the latter, the brand announces 3.6 seconds in the 0-100 km/h and a range of up to 885 km.
The power values and battery capacity have not been revealed, but the Aitekx RoboTruck 1T already has announced prices starting from $45,000 (approximately €41,000) for the base variant, while the top version HyperAIX Sports Signature AWD starts at $99,000 (approximately €90,000).
