It is only a matter of time until Honda returns to the top, or at least that is Luca Marini’s belief, who believes he has every tool available to help the manufacturer taking this complicated path.
On this year, his first aboard the RC213V, the italian already explained he was expecting such difficult times, and sees this as the first year for a recovery journey, as he told La Gazzetta dello Sport: ‘I try to make it understood that the journey began this year and takes time, because other brands improve’.
To do so he will have all help from the giant japanese brand: ‘Compared to the time when other manufacturers had concessions, it will be more difficult to get back to the top. But if we work well, nothing is missing to be successful’.
The season is, as Marini expected, to be quite hard and his result on the standings prove so, with the #10 not being able to score so far in the championship, but with another round coming, this could change.
