The current moment for Luca Marini is the worst he has ever been into since he got to the top class. Riding with a factory team the italian still haven’t scored, but assure that there is confidence in the project.
Speaking at the podcast ‘Fast and Curious’, quoted on Motosan, the italian didn’t hide away from the problems, saying that what he is going through isn’t that unusual: ‘The truth is that this problem in motorsport is very common, the motorcycles that can win are very few. It’s hard to start a weekend. On Thursday you go wanting to work and you want to reach 10’.
He then continued, highlighting that despite the moment he is fully confident on what’s to come: ‘On Friday you look down and say: «This weekend will also be difficult, let’s see what happens on Sunday». I look for motivation thinking that it is a new project, I am consoled that I still have a year left to adapt to the motorcycle. I believe in the project and I am sure that we will improve’.
Marini is actually one of the riders that are safe in MotoGP until 2025, as he is contracted until next season at least, and will continue with Honda.
