M-Sport Ford will once again place Adrien Fourmaux in a Rally1 next month, for the Rally of Japan. This will be the final round of the World Rally Championship (WRC) season.
The British team has decided with Pierre-Louis Loubet that the Central Europe Rally would be his last event in 2023, so that the driver can then fully concentrate on preparing for next year. The chosen replacement was Fourmaux, who will compete in a Rally1 for the first time since last year’s Rally of Catalonia.
At this time, the driver navigated by Alexandre Coria has an important challenge at hand: to prove that he deserves to be in the WRC and be a worthy successor to Ott Tänak – who left the seat open and preferred to move to Hyundai.
