Johnson is particularly looking forward to the Lakers’ game against the Nuggets as it coincides with the unveiling of Kobe Bryant’s statue. It would be a fitting tribute to Bryant if the Lakers can defeat the team that eliminated them in the 2023 Western Conference Finals. Regardless, the Lakers’ main focus should be to maintain their winning momentum throughout the season. Despite their recent successes, they still have a long way to go as they currently hold the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a record of 26-25.
