The initial contact of Marc Márquez with the Ducati seems to be going well. With about an hour and a half left in the test day in Valencia, the new Gresini rider is at the top of the timesheets.
Although he hasn’t yet beaten his lap time set with the Honda in the qualifying of the Valencia GP, the Spaniard is leading with a lap completed in 1m29.460s. His brother and teammate, Álex Márquez, is second, 0.178s behind.
Following them is Raúl Fernández (Aprilia), with Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) in fourth. Only two more riders have entered the 1m29s: Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).
