With Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta confirmed at Red Bull KTM in MotoGP for 2025, there are still two spots to be filled within the Pierer Mobility group – both at Red Bull GasGas Tech3, headed by Hervé Poncharal.
The Frenchman commented on the current situation speaking to the championship’s official website: ‘At the moment you have two seats clear in the Pierer Mobility, which are Pedro and Brad Binder. The other two seats are up for grabs and everyone is talking to everyone’.
Could Marc Márquez be an option in this context? While KTM has distanced itself from the Spanish rider, Poncharal hasn’t close that door: ‘I know yesterday Marc has said Pramac is not an option. So far he didn’t say a word about Pierer Mobility, so we can keep on dreaming’.
It’s worth noting that Márquez is currently with Gresini and may not have a place in Ducati’s factory team or a current Desmosedici GP in 2025. On Friday, the eight-time world champion was seen entering KTM’s facilities in Mugello.
