Marc Márquez completed over 70 laps yesterday on the second day of MotoGP testing in Sepang – under challenging conditions and on a consistently demanding track. However, this Thursday, he once again committed himself and added another 54 laps as he continues to adapt and familiarize himself with the Ducati Desmosedici GP23.
The Gresini Spanish rider admitted that he pushed himself to the limit, but also wanted to make every possible effort and avoid the feeling that something was left undone:
– I was really in the limit. For that reason the mid-day break was longer. But for example, another Sprint race simulation was not the plan after 72 laps yesterday. But I said: «OK, I need to make the last effort». I don’t know if in the future I will arrive to the level of those top guys, but I don’t want to have the doubt. Keep working, keep working, is the key. So I don’t want to have «ah, you don’t make it». I will do and I will insist to try to do it.
