Maserati announced that it is carrying out a long-term sustainable growth plan, focused on the consistent evolution of the brand and products.
According to the plan, all models will be “100% designed, developed, and manufactured in Italy”. However, the Modena brand says it is “writing the future of luxury mobility with an ambitious strategy” that involves “the development of a comprehensive product plan aimed at electrification, to reflect the aspirations of customers”.
Making it clear that it believes more than ever in the future of electric mobility, Maserati has revealed plans to launch a range of 100% electric models, which will join the GranTurismo Folgore and Grecale Folgore that are already on sale.
In this sense, Maserati is expected to launch the fully electric GranCabrio Folgore shortly after the internal combustion engine version this year. The path to electrification will continue with the new MC20 Folgore in 2025, while an electric crossover will arrive in 2027. The 100% electric Quattroporte is expected in 2028.
“Driven by our heart of Modena, we are going full throttle to lead the change in electrification, with two of our iconic models already available for purchase in their 100% electric versions, and another one coming this year. We will offer our preferred customers the most powerful Maserati ever, pushing the boundaries of driving pleasure into a new era”, highlighted Davide Grasso, CEO of Maserati.
