In an exciting development, Mazda has announced the release of the new CX-90 Premium Sport model. This latest addition to the Mazda lineup builds on the already impressive specifications of the CX-90, offering a range of exciting features and enhancements.
One of the standout features of the Premium Sport model is its sleek and stylish design. The grille has been given a glossy black finish, complemented by additional black elements on the bumpers, door garnish, roof rails, and side mirror casings. A special logo on the front fenders adds a touch of exclusivity to this model. The Premium Sport also comes equipped with 21-inch wheels featuring a black metallic finish, adding to its overall sporty aesthetic.
Inside the cabin, the CX-90 Premium Sport offers a host of additional gizmos and features. These include a panoramic moonroof, electric tailgate, and a 12.3-inch digital cluster. The head-up display provides important information directly in the driver’s line of sight, enhancing safety and convenience. The Bose audio system ensures a premium sound experience, while the electrically adjustable driver’s seat with two memory settings adds a level of personalized comfort. Enhanced illumination, satellite radio, and a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink are just a few of the other features that make this model stand out.
When it comes to safety, the CX-90 Premium Sport doesn’t disappoint. It is equipped with head-on traffic avoidance assist, cruising and traffic support, blind spot assist, road keep assist, and emergency lane keeping features. These advanced safety technologies provide peace of mind for both the driver and passengers.
In terms of powertrain options, the CX-90 Premium Sport offers two choices. The 3.3L motor delivers an impressive 340 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque on upper specs. For those looking for a more fuel-efficient option, the plug-in hybrid model combines a 2.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit with an electric motor and a 17.8 kWh battery. This hybrid powertrain offers a zero-emission range of 26 miles and delivers 323 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.
Pricing for the new Mazda CX-90 Premium Sport starts at $46,400 for the 3.3L motor and $54,900 for the plug-in hybrid. The base 2025 Mazda CX-90 Turbo Select configuration remains affordable at $37,845, while the Turbo Preferred starts at $40,945. The Turbo Premium Sport, the latest addition to the lineup, is priced at $49,400. The 2025 model year also brings additional changes to the CX-90 lineup. The Preferred trim levels now come with a larger 12.3-inch infotainment system and smartphone connectivity.
