Mazda is ready to unveil the new CX-70, a large-sized SUV intended for the North American market and that the brand will reveal on January 30th.
The new model was supposed to be presented in 2023, however, some delays led the Japanese brand to only now announce the presentation date of the CX-70.
The confirmation of the presentation date was made by Mazda Canada, although details of the new model are not yet known, it is certain that the new Mazda SUV will share the mechanical offering with the CX-90, launched in 2023.
Therefore, the new large-sized Mazda SUV should have two different versions, one equipped with a turbocharged inline six-cylinder e-Skyactiv G gasoline engine with a displacement of 3.3 liters, complemented by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system; and another with a plug-in hybrid e-Skyactiv PHEV gasoline engine, with a displacement of 2.5 liters and inline four cylinders.
