The MG is celebrating its centenary and the British brand surprised this Thursday, the opening day of the Goodwood Speed Festival in the UK, by revealing the Cyber GTS Concept, a 100% electric model with rear-wheel drive that is a coupe variant of the Cyberster roadster.
The British brand has announced that this Cyber GTS Concept shares many elements with the Cyberster, including the front section, bumpers, and lighting signature. However, the main difference is in the roof, as this concept does not use the retractable fabric roof of the roadster, resulting in a more aerodynamic line and a redesigned rear.
The interior of this concept, which anticipates a future production model from MG, has not been revealed, but it is expected to be very similar to that of the roadster, with the exception of the use of rear seats to accommodate two passengers, which is not possible in the roadster. Additionally, MG has not provided technical details of this concept.
Tudo aponta que o Cyber GTS deverá chegar à linha de produção em 2025, a tempo de assinalar o 60.º aniversário do MGB GT, mas para já a marca britânica não confirmou essa decisão.
