Miguel Oliveira left the MotoGP Thai Grand Prix empty-handed. A problem with his Aprilia forced him to retire in the seventh lap of Sunday’s race in Buriram, leaving him without any points in this round.
In a brief statement to the press, the Portuguese rider from the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team didn’t hide his frustration with the outcome, even though he didn’t categorize the round as negative:
– I had to retire quick due to a technical issue, there is not much to say about that. The weekend was more or less OK. It was frustrating to not capitalize the speed we had on the FP2 on the qualifying. Also yesterday we didn’t have the best of luck during the sprint, and also today. I’m looking forward to reset and come back stronger in Malaysia.
